View-only by default
Documents live in private storage. Every view is served through a signed link that expires in 60 seconds. There is no download button anywhere in the product.
Traceable watermarks
Every page is tiled diagonally with the visitor's email, the room name, and the timestamp. A leaked screenshot points straight back to its source.
Seconds, not guesses
A heartbeat is recorded every 15 seconds while the visitor's tab is visible, then summed per file. You see real reading time, not page opens.

An honest note on screenshots
No web product can technically block screenshots or phone photos of a screen — and any tool that claims otherwise is selling you fiction. Dudill takes the approach that works in practice: every rendered page carries the visitor's email, the room name, and a timestamp tiled across it. People don't leak documents that have their name on them.
Questions, answered
Can visitors download or print files?
No. Files render in the browser on a canvas with no download button, no right-click menu, no text selection, and printing disabled. The file URL is a signed link that expires after 60 seconds, so it can't be shared or saved.
Do visitors need an account?
No. A visitor enters their email once and the room opens. Their session is kept in a secure, signed cookie — no password, no sign-up flow.
How accurate is the time tracking?
The viewer sends a heartbeat every 15 seconds while the tab is actually visible, and a final event when the file is closed. Time in background tabs is not counted, so the numbers reflect real attention.
What stops someone from taking a screenshot?
No browser can block screenshots — and we don't pretend to. Instead, every page is watermarked with the visitor's email, the room name, and the time, so any leaked image is traceable to the person who took it.
